Project Details

The works are within Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, Dublin, Ireland, a protected curtilage comprising numerous protected structures. Works are within the confines of the Aerodrome. Works are both landside and airside. Airside works encompass the apron and two taxiways.

The new water network has been designed as a ring main. The site requires approx. 4.8 km of water mains and 1.5 km of service pipework to be laid, to serve the service entry points and hydrants

This project involves the installation of a new water distribution system connecting to 68 existing service pipes and 28 no. fire hydrants. The new water network shall be laid up to and within 48 buildings with the final connection to the existing internal building pipework. The new network will also connect externally to 20 existing service pipes. Connections are also required to an existing 50 mm PVC water main and 125 mm uPVC water main.

The works include installing water mains, construction of valve, meter and hydrant chambers, reinstatement of roads and airside apron, installing buried services and making the final connection to existing internal pipework, insulating above ground external water pipes, core drilling and rendering, commissioning new buried mains and services including pressure testing, flushing, swabbing, disinfecting and water quality testing, procuring materials and liaising with South Dublin County Council (SDCC) to co-ordinate connection of the new network to the existing site main. SDCC are to provide a new water meter and kiosk, to be placed in a water meter chamber.

Project Details

2 storey school building along with another smaller new school, groundstore, binstore and horticulture building on a new site. 1000m of drainage installed, 1500m of services installed, 1000m of kerbing installed along with all other general groundwork activities including site clearance, reduced level excavation, building up levels, landscaping, foundations, concrete floors, street lighting etc.

The purpose of this project was to construct a new one of its kind Special Education Needs school. The main school buildings were also constructed by installing prefabricated modules together. .

Project Details

This project involved all site clearance, excavation and removal of 26000m3 of excess material, laying 22500m2 of reinforced concrete with K-form joints. We also installed ducting, cabling, lighting, security cameras, fire main and valves/hydrants and other services. The drainage to this area was done using channels, twinwall pipework, attenuation tanks and discharged through a pump chamber to the local authority drainage network.

Phase 3A Factory Extension

This project is for the completion of a 5000m2 extension to the existing factory. We are carrying out the extension including steel framework, cladding, brickwork and blockwork, reinforced concrete flooring, precast concrete stairs and floors, mechanical and electrical installation including sprinkler system, syphonic drainage, compressed air, heating installation and associated internal drainage.

Project Details

This new road bridge is a two-span cable-stayed bridge with an A-frame central pylon height of 105m and a crossing width of 330m across the River Wear between Castletown on the northern bank to Paillon on the southern bank. The main central pylon height of 105m makes it the tallest structure in Sunderland.

Our works consisted of initial site clearance, earthworks, demolition works, piling activities, new roadway construction and associated landscaping.
