Kilgallioch Windfarm in South Ayrshire, Scotland was commissioned by Scottish Power Renewables at a cost of £300 million. This project consisted of 96 turbines.
Our section of this project contained 25no turbines with all associated works which included initial site clearance, setting up compound, construction of 50km of access roads, turbine bases, hardstandings and substation construction.
We also completed approx. 70km of excavation and backfill for the cabling works for each turbine back to the substation for connection to the national grid.
